Celebrating Human Rights
Each year, the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission recognizes Nova Scotians who have made significant contributions to furthering the Commission’s mission of obtaining a just, equitable, and inclusive society in Nova Scotia. Recipients of the 2021 Nova Scotia Human Rights Awards will be honoured on December 10th, the United Nations International Human Rights Day.
This year, the Commission will be hosting a virtual event from the Red Chamber at the Nova Scotia legislature which will be live streamed to the public via this webpage, YouTube, and Facebook pages.
The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 10th. We invite you to tune in and help celebrate Nova Scotia’s human rights champions.
