Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is observed on November 20th as a day to honor and remember transgender and gender diverse individuals who have lost their lives to acts of anti-trans violence.
Murray Sinclair was a powerful leader and advocate, a respected judge, Senator and chair of Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission. His passing on November 4 at the age of 73 is deeply saddening.
