Independent Human Rights Hearing Begins January

An independent human rights board of inquiry in the matter of Nicole Brown vs. Bluenotes will begin on Wednesday, January 21. 

Ms. Brown alleges the company discriminated against her because of her race and colour when she was shopping at the store in Dartmouth.

The board chair for the hearing is Dennis James, who is independent of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission.

The hearing will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Best Western Chocolate Lake, 250 St. Margarets Bay Rd., Halifax. It is open to media and members of the public.
