Gender-based Violence is a form of human rights violation which is linked to gender and/or sexual identity, gender expression, and/or perceived gender. It continues to occur in our communities, and statistics show that women and girls are disproportionately harmed by it. Prevention and education are key to ending Gender-based Violence. Join Minister Martin together with community members, to explore a whole-of-society approach to preventing gender-based violence through educational and programming initiatives intended to raise awareness and support the people who are affected by it.
