9th Annual African Festival of Arts and Culture

The Africa Festival of Arts and Culture is a free annual celebration that showcases the unique cultural heritage and artistic works of people of African descent living in Nova Scotia. The festival includes arts, crafts, visual and performing arts, food and much more. The 2018 festival is scheduled to start on July 20th and will end on July 22nd at 1655 Lower Water Street (Sackville Landing), Halifax.

“African talent runs deep here in Halifax and beyond. And we are excited to celebrate the 9th annual African Festival of Arts and Culture with our community here.” says the festivals Chair George Mbamalu.  “We look forward to seeing people from all backgrounds and ethnicity, our community members, partners, and friends as we explore the 2018 Africa Festival of Arts and Culture. “
